Loudoun County is in the process of developing a new comprehensive plan that will shape land use, development and environmental sustainability for years to come. The process includes input from County staff, outside consultants, and public input workshops. Adoption of the plan’s vision, goals and objectives is the responsibility of the County’s Board of Supervisors.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent “Envision Loudoun” public input workshops. You voiced your opinions for a strong, green infrastructure and preservation of Loudoun’s irreplaceable habitats.
The next round of public input will occur in January. This will be the final opportunity for citizens to speak up for a comprehensive plan that includes objectives to identify, map, maintain, conserve and restore our forests, streams, wetlands, mountainsides and meadows.
Prior to the workshops, we will post talking points for those who want to participate. For more information on Envision Loudoun, visit http://envision-loudoun.org/
