From our estimates (looking at photos from when the pair definitely started sitting on the nest and not leaving), we think this could be the week that the eggs hatch!
The nest is likely pretty deep so we won’t be able to see little heads until they grow up a bit but we’ll keep watch through our spotting scopes for indicator activity, like if an adult is standing on the edge and putting its head down into the nest …. perhaps to feed a hungry mouth.
