As we all adapt to the ongoing health crisis, we hope you are able to find some time to get outside and enjoy the awe and wonder of nature. This is an opportunity for us come together as a community for the benefit of our collective physical and mental health. For all of us, the outdoors and being in nature provides innumerable physical and mental health benefits. While we have had to cancel and postpone many of our programs, including vital fundraising activities, which threatens our ability to continue to deliver our typical programs, we are exploring our options to find innovative ways to bring our passion for nature into your home during this stressful time and to continue to thrive as an organization.
Additionally, the Dulles Greenway’s new ownership is re-envisioning its charitable giving for this year. As a result, they will not be hosting the Drive for Charity this spring, but we are looking forward to future collaborations with the new ownership group. Combined with the ongoing health crisis, our organization is under tremendous strain to provide the resources we need to fulfill our mission, and we need your support now more than ever!

GiveChoose is a unique 24-hour crowdfunding event organized by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties to support local nonprofits. This year during GiveChoose, your donation will be doubled! The first $5,000 donated will be matched by our generous donors Edwin and Melody Rood. And, you help us win cash prizes being offered throughout the day!
Prizes will be awarded for most unique donors and most dollars donated during select periods during the day. We are going to target the following windows to maximize our chances of winning these bonus prizes. Please donate during one, or all, of the below windows:

Your donation to Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy for GiveChoose will provide us with funding to be able to continue our education programs and nature walks at full capacity once the current pandemic subsides. After extended periods of self-quarantine and isolation, getting outdoors will be more important than ever. You can provide opportunities to make this possible!
