We got permision last weekend to survey birds at Whites Ford, the new park being established by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority.
Whites Ford has a nice diversity of habitats that include floodplain, fields and wood edges. Gerco Hoogeweg did the survey and found 33 species. The complete list follows:
