Measured E. coli concentrations in Limestone Branch Tributary 1 starting in June 2021. Between May and September 2022, the Virginia DEQ single sample recreational use threshold of 235 CFU is continuously exceeded at values up to 22 times the threshold.

Ecological condition rating scores resulting from benthic macroinvertebrate surveys at Limestone Branch Tributary starting Fall 2021. This site has continuously received acceptable ratings. These surveys cannot detect bacterial pollution.
