Thirty-three people joined us at the Izaak Walton League Chapter House in Leesburg on March 19 to experience Virginia’s wildlife through the lens of professional wildlife photographer Jeff Mauritzen. Jeff has been on wildlife assignments for National Geographic, Ranger Rick, and Highlights for Children and regularly leads photo expeditions around the world for National Geographic Expeditions. You can see examples of his work on his website. Along with viewing Jeff’s photographs, participants received tips, tricks, and advice on the best ways to shoot nature photography.
