River Creek is a residential community located on the Potomac River near Leesburg, Virginia. This 600-acre community is wrapped around a golf course and accommodates over 1130 residences varying from single family homes to townhouses. Confluence Park is located within the community, and you’ll hear from Dan Cotter about the rebirth of the park over the last four and a half years. Susan Abraham, Conservation Landscape Designer, describes the leadership needed to make it happen and explains the landscape design elements. The tour takes you through the restored areas and two home gardens at River Creek featuring native plants. You’ll hear from community residents about their involvement with the park as well as bluebird and bat monitoring.
