The first Advocacy 101 event of 2023 was held online on January 25th. Conservation Advocacy Specialist Trinity Mills talked about why you should practice written advocacy, when to write to your public official and how to write an effective letter. Participants split up into two breakout sessions to practice writing letter to public officials with guidance from Trinity and Executive Director Michael Myers. The presentation is available as a PDF file, which provides a toolkit for effective letter writing.
