For those with smart phones, it’s time for an App showdown! There are a couple of birding apps out there – the two leaders seem to be Audubon Birds and Sibley’s eGuide to Birds.
Both have similar features and content – bird photos, descriptions, songs, range maps and more, but do you have a favorite? If so, tell us which one and why. If you’re new to playing around with smart phones and birding apps, you can check the links below.
Just remember to always practice ethical birding – the welfare of the birds is the top priority and more important than if we see the bird.
