Advocacy 101: Loudoun and Power (Virtual)
August 30, 2023 @ 7:00 pm
Loudoun’s position as one of the fastest growing counties by population is enough to warrant a discussion of our county’s increased need for power. Loudoun’s title of “Data Center Capital of the World” puts power in a whole new perspective. Energy infrastructure projects take a much different shape than do typical development projects, and have different impacts on wildlife. Join us for this virtual presentation to learn about what makes power consumption such a key topic for wildlife and habitat conservation in Loudoun County, and learn what you as an advocate can do differently to help protect wildlife against power projects. Registration required
You’ll receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email when you register.
