
Dr. Nida Davis is a nature artist and certified Ikebana Master with the Sogetsu School of Japan, where she trained under Sensei Motoko Shimizu San. She combines her love of nature and art through hand-built pottery, watercolor painting and floral design, often drawing inspiration from birds, flowers and other wildlife. Nida teaches sgraffito pottery at the Round Hill Arts Center and is especially interested in creating Ikebana vases inspired by natural forms.
A passionate conservation volunteer, Nida supports Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy’s mission as a bluebird trail leader at Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park, where she helps monitor and protect local bird populations. She also assists with the Dulles Greenway Eagle Cam program through Loudoun Wildlife.
Professionally, Nida serves as the Security Architecture Director at Microsoft, leading the Digital Security and Resilience architecture team. She holds a Doctor of Liberal Studies from Georgetown University, a Master of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo, a Master of Arts in Leadership from Bellevue University, a graduate degree from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University. She has been recognized as one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders in the United States.
