Emily Hayba first moved to Western Loudoun with her family in the late 1980s. After leaving the area for college and traveling the country for her husband’s military service, she and her family settled in Leesburg in 2022. She enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and getting outdoors with her two young boys. She became interested in Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy when looking for opportunities to connect with local conservation efforts and introduce her children to the importance of protecting and caring for nature.
Emily works for The Nature Conservancy where she has supported global development efforts for the past 15 years. She is a fundraiser working with private foundations, primarily supporting organizational capacity building and programs focused on conservation in partnership with Indigenous Peoples and local communities around the world.
