Birding Sweet Run
September 28 @ 8:00 am
Join us at the Sweet Run State Park (formerly known as the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship) for this monthly walk. We will explore parts of this beautiful 900-acre park and see what lives in this diverse habitat. The focus is birds but we’ll see what else lives and grows in this special place. This outing takes place every fourth Saturday of the month except in December. Meet at the main parking lot near the Interpretive Center; bring binoculars if you have them. The Park is located just north of Neersville at 11661 Harpers Ferry Road (Route 671). Directions can be found on the Park’s website. Registration Required.
Fee Notice: The parking fee normally charged at Sweet Run has been waived on September 28 for National Public Lands Day.
