Birding JK Black Oak

Join Michael Sciortino and Bryan Henson to look for birds at JK Black Oak Wildlife Sanctuary, which was purchased by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy in 2020. This bird walk will take us through the forest, across the meadows and past several of the vernal pools (which will be dry this time of year) that make this such a unique place. Over 140 species of birds have been documented, and there is always a chance of discovering more during fall migration. Parking and meeting location will be emailed to registered participants. Limit 20. Registration required.
