Celebrate Birds: Birding Banshee
May 11 @ 8:00 am
Join Join Dori Rhodes, Jane Yocom and John Denice at this wonderful nature preserve which was established in 1999. In addition to a mile of Goose Creek frontage, Banshee has a great diversity of habitats on its 695 acres ranging from wetlands and ponds to mixed hardwood forests of oak and hickory to wonderful meadows laden with milkweed, goldenrod, and thistle, all supportive of a great deal of wildlife. Numerous trails wind their way through these various habitats and are great for birding. Bring binoculars if you have them. Registration required.
