SUMMARY:Alternative Gift Fair
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Alternative Gift Fair  in the parish hall at St James Episcopal Church in Leesburg (see map below). The fair is an opportunity for people to give meaningful gifts that will have a lasting impact in our community. In lieu of a traditional gift\, a monetary contribution is made to further the ongoing missions of participating nonprofit organizations. Each purchase is accompanied by an attractive holiday gift card and insert describing your gift to the beneficiary organization. You will also receive a receipt for tax purposes with every purchase.  Loudoun Wildlife’s table will also have mugs and T-shirts for sale. \nQuestions: Contact info@loudounwildlife.org.

SUMMARY:Winter Sowing
DESCRIPTION:Join Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and Wildlife Sanctuary Ambassador and Virginia Master Naturalist Brian Magurn at the Gatehouse in Morven Park for hands-on training for winter-sowing native plant seeds in containers. We will plant native plant seeds in recycled plastic containers that you will bring. We’ll provide the soil\, and will have some seeds to share. It’s fun to create your own science experiment each year and patiently wait through the winter then watch them grow outside in the spring. Thanks to Watermark Woods Native Plants for donating potting soil. Limit 15.
