Advocacy 101: The Development Process (Virtual)
October 26, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Habitat loss resulting from the development of land for human use is the biggest threat to wildlife at the local level, and many of Loudoun Wildlife’s conservation efforts focus on minimizing the impact on wildlife from development projects. Effective advocacy for wildlife habitat depends up on understanding the process of building and development in the county. This second installment of the Advocacy 101 series covers the development process. Join us on Zoom at 7:00pm to learn about the process of development in Loudoun County, and what part YOU can play in protecting wildlife habitat.
Join us on the last Wednesday of each month to learn about advocacy, how Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy practices it, and what part you can play in standing up for local wildlife. Connection information for this virtual presentation will be included in your confirmation email after you register. Registration required.
