Increasing Awareness of the Spotted Lanternfly (Virtual)
May 26, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Native to China, the Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) was first detected in Pennsylvania in 2014. Since then, it has spread to 10 states, including Virginia, and poses a serious threat to agriculture and logging industries as well as home gardens.
Join Beth Flores-Sastre, horticulturist from the Virginia Cooperative Extension Loudoun Office to learn how we can slow the spread of this invasive pest. This virtual presentation is co-sponsored by the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship and Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy. Registration Required.
