Forest Bathing: A Guided Nature and Forest Therapy Walk
October 18, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Enjoy an afternoon of forest bathing at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship. Kim Strader, Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs, will lead us on a gentle sensory-opening walk to reconnect or deepen our connection with the natural world in a way that supports overall health and wellness. This slow-paced walk, sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy, will cover no more than a mile or two in three hours as we awaken our senses and explore the surrounding forests and fields. Additional details will be emailed to participants a week ahead. Limit 9. Fee: $30 members/$40 non-members. Registration required.
Please read the COVID-19 Participant Guidelines. To attend this event, you must register (below), and sign the waiver prior to the event. Any participant under 18 must have an adult present, and the adult must acknowledge that the youth understands the guidelines.
