Butterfly Walk at the Blue Ridge Center
August 25, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Did you miss the butterfly count? Or did you enjoy the butterfly count so much you want to go looking for more? Then you are in luck! On Saturday, August 25, at 9:30am, we’ll gather at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship (BRCES). For roughly two hours, we’ll look for butterflies (and other critters that cross our path). Depending upon interest and weather and level of butterfly activity, we might take the show on road and look for butterflies elsewhere in Loudoun County after we have exhausted our two hours.
If you are interested, there is no sign up, just show up at BRCES (11661 Harpers Ferry Rd. Purcellville, VA 20132) – drive down the gravel road, veer left and slightly down the hill and park at the bottom. Wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen; bring water and butterfly guides if you have them.
