Annual Meeting and Quilt Raffle

Let’s celebrate Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy’s 26th annual meeting with a picnic in the park (see map below). There will be live music by the “Belugas”, a short business meeting and presentation of the Volunteer of the Year awards, LCPS Regional Science Fair winners, Roger Tory Peterson Young Naturalists awards and a keynote speaker — Jennifer Burghoffer, Education Manager and Rehabilitator for the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center, who will be joined by an assortment of Animal Ambassadors including Vega the Turkey Vulture, Dopey the Screech Owl, Tripod and Rocket the flying squirrels, Slim the Eastern rat snake, and Nigel the opossum. Bring your own light refreshments and chairs. Due to the global pandemic, please register so we can comply with current Covid-19 restrictions. Rain date is June 13. Quilt Raffle: Blue Bird Art Quilt by Cindy Vough: Dimensions 35″ x 23.5″. Tickets are on sale May 18 through midnight on June 5. The drawing will be held at 4:50 p.m. at the Annual Meeting and streamed via livestream on Facebook. (The winner does not need to be present.) Purchase raffle tickets here.

The annual meeting will take place in the field to the right of Southern Planter Ln., before the main parking lot:
