A Nature Day Camp for Kids
Parents! If you’re looking for a fun experience for your youngsters that will also get them up-close and personal with nature, the Outdoor Adventure Nature Day Camp at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship might be it.
The camp will be held June 12-16 and is for students ages 8 through 11 who have a real interest in the natural world. Space will be limited to a maximum of 20 campers. The camp, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, will provide hands-on experiences and include daily exploration hikes, nature oriented games, recording their experience (journaling time) and lots of fun.
