“If my first glance of the morning was for the sun, my first thought was for the butterflies it would engender.”

- Vladimir Nabokov

A place to share our thoughts, our stories, our ideas on nature

Let's Talk!

Photo Time...

Stop by our yahoo discussion forum - share your wildlife sightings, ask questions, discuss ideas! This forum is spam free and you can set it up to receive messages daily or as they come in. [Coming Soon] Step on over to our photo album - share some shots, see what others are discovering in Loudoun. We have some "wild times" on our field trips!

Podcasting...

Blogging on Wildlife...

Subscribe to our podcast to listen to information on our programs, ideas for nature activities, interesting wildlife facts and sightings, interviews with local naturalist greats, recordings from the field and more....all from right here in Loudoun. So much great wildlife out there! You can view or subscribe to our blog to get updates delivered to your desktop. You can also sign up to receive our LWC Twitter tweets on your mobile phone or computer.
LWC in the News...

Book Club...

We're making news! Read newspaper clippings, letters to the editor and press releases on what we've been up to and how we've been captured in the media. Interested in reading some great nature books? Jump into the LWC Book Club. This is a pretty informal group. We meet quarterly for about an hour and have some fun nature and wildlife discussion, sharing insights and impressions on the books we select.
